The practitioner tries to understand where the pain is, what triggers it, and how it responds to different lifestyle patterns. Cold, dry, and processed foods should be avoided. Gentle stretching, adequate hydration, and an early bedtime are encouraged to stabilize nerve function. Ayurveda stresses the importance of consistent daily routines to prevent further imbalances and support nervous system healing.
